yeah I know the guy your talking about! God the mobile tech world is very small. I didn’t realise it was the same Edward! Yeah the guys very much an aquired taste!

He is to the mobile tech world what Andy Gray is to football!!! And Edward, if your Reading this and you don’t know much about football then don’t worry, because neither does Andy Gray;)
Far be it from me to suggest, but if your gonna do an editorial, then perhaps a blanket slating followed by silence is not great.
That said, now I know who you are, keep em coming because it’s great amusement value.

Guys, Edward is crazy, seems to be drunk and offensive since years on http://www.msmobiles.com.
His articles are purely sensation-seeking without any real knowledge/facts. And he is calling everyone who disagrees with his opinion (and most often, his opinion is purely wrong), “Stupid”, “Retarded” and other things.

You should just stop to read his articles as it is pure bashing and whining …

I-Edward. Don’t get me wrong I like you, but I find your editorial slightly offensive. You use the words retard, idiotic, etc. People will be upset! Please answer my question. How can tom tom work well until they release a car kit with it’s own gps chip. An update later the iPhones own gps is no longer sufficient. Read the reviews for tom tom or navigon. They are moving backward. Also, especially WM, Software developers often know they have developed issues but DENY they exist because to admit it would damage sales. Remember also I too have never stolen software. Everything that’s on my phone has been paid for via iTunes. The tiny percentage of stolen software out there is a drop in the ocean compared to the HAWK software companies who are raping us!

What about the huge amount of free applications that are not in Apple Store because developers could not afford to pay but willingly make them available for all iPhone (jailbreak) users?

Eduard: it’s not clear in your text- didn’t you jailbreak your iPhone? Is all your PC software legal?

I-Edward, perhaps you should balance things by doing another editorial on how apple themselves deliberatley restrict certain apps. Or the developers that you speak of moving there products in a backward motion via updates to get people like me to spend more money. Case in point, tom tom. Paid for in full I hasten to add worked brilliantly with no issues. An update later my gps can’t get a decent lock. Navigon has the same issue read the reviews! The answer, “buy a tom tom cradle!” for a hundred quid! Geohot was offered 50k for blackra1n, for whatever reason he turned it down. I hope he gets more for it from donations, and I hope he starts work on win7 when it comes out. Long live GEOHOT!

I totally.disagree. the people that make the jailbreak will continue to so for the kudos involved. If I choose to jailbreak my iPhone so I can run backgrounder that’s my business and has absolutely NO effect on any developers.
If people want to pirate that’s their business and they can pay the price. But to mock the users that just want to have some extra functionality and try and lay any blame on them is just naive. Like blaming gun makers for someone pulling the trigger. Totally different and absolutely no comparisons.
