iPhone OS 3.0 update released globally!

Instead of releasing it at the same local time at various time zones, Apple has released it 9AM Cupertino time – globally.

Here is the list of new features – as provided by Apple in the upgrade information box:

To get your phone upgrade just connect it to iTunes on your PC or Mac and a message should pop up. If it will not pop up then just click the “check update” button. Be sure also to update your iTunes to latest version (8.2) before upgrading.
