HTC Touch HD ROM Upgrade available
An updated ROM is now available for HTC Touch HD users to download. [The update is available for the following languages: English (Pan Europe and UK), Italian, Dutch, French, Finnish, Portuguese, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish.]
1. Updated the Connection Setup Database.
2. Improved emergency call connections while using Airplane Mode.
3. The GPS position updating speed has been enhanced.
4. A Title bar display flicker in TouchFLO 3D has been corrected.
5. Fixed multiple browsing issues.

I recently gave my HTC Touch HD in for repairs and when I got it back, realised that they seem to have installed the arabic ROM version without my permission. I tried using the update on the HTC website but after putting in the serial number, I was told that it wasn’t suitable for my device.
Please could you tell me how to get back to an English only version.

tap start then tap settings, then tap on the system tab, then scroll down until u find multi langual support, tap on the icon, then tap control then under the ‘disable multi langual support’ check box tap on the box, then tap english with arabic enabled, tap ok, then restart your phone. problem solved!
