Palm Pre 3rd party app video walkthrough
Dieter over at Precentral has done a sterling job over at CTIA and posted a video demonstration of some 3rd party applications running on the Palm Pre. He has also unearthed another gem of information regarding Palm OS applications. He has spotted an application on the Pre that lets you emulate Palm OS applications, great news for you Palm fans, still no information on a launch date but there is still time. I want it now, when will this torture end!
I noticed the Palm Pre was listed at http://www.play.com, no price or date of course but i’m crossing my fingers that there is a sim free version to set me free from my windows mobile touch diamond hell.
Looks very nice, I especially like to see how third party apps are allowed to hook into the standard apps, for example add appointments to the calender when you book a ticket. Seem quite opposite to Apple who seem hellbent on restriciting third party apps from many things.
