Windows Mobile 6.5 video on the HTC Touch HD
We saw quite a few screenshots a few days back taken from an HTC Touch HD running a Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM, well now we have a video to go with it and it is over 9 minutes long so make yourself a cup of tea and sit back and enjoy. It starts right from the beginning showing the actual flashing of the ROM so its all covered. After watching it I have the impression that this is a nice looking update and it seems very snappy with lovely smooth scrolling. See what you think, the videos after the break and if it doesn’t play jump the slider along a few seconds and it should work, not sure why that is but it worked for me.

Hi firstly let me say, great site with brilliant reviews, i’ve got my HTC Touch HD coming on monday and I cant wait, ive been trying to find out as much information about this phone as humanly possible, this video of WM 6.5 is it in beta phase or is this available now?
Ive bookmarked this site and no doubt ill visiting a lot when I get my phone, keep up the good work and look forward to hearing you reply.
Oh and another I meant to ask, theres a lot of talk on the internet of T-Mobile bringing out a G2 version using android, have you heard any more info on this and if so would it be possible to upgrade the normal Touch HD to android when it is released

There is never a guarantee of a ROM being available even for 6.5 that we have seen running on the Touch HD, as it is such a new device I would certainly hope that it would get an update to Windows Mobile 6.5 but until it is announced we don’t know. MWC 09 takes place this week, we should hear much more information about the next version of Windows Mobile so keep dropping by as we will try and keep things updated as much as possible as stories break. As for Android on the Touch HD I would say no chance, unless the hacker community get it together and manage to do this but there will be no official way of doing it.
