iPhone 2.2 screenshots leaked
We have heard rumours recently that the upcoming iPhone 2.2 firmware update would include support for podcast downloads over the air, well some leaked screenshots have surfaced which seem to confirm this and show a new tab in the App Store giving you access to podcasts. Now the bad news, no problems if you have WiFi, unlimited downloading, unfortunately over 3G is a different story and you will be limited to 10 mb files. Now how will this work, are we going to see everyone now splitting their podcasts into 10 mb segments or do Apple have a cunning plan up their sleeve, either way it is a bit disappointing. I’m getting really fed up with Apple and there support for Wi Fi over 3G, what was the point in bringing out a 3G phone when all they do is make it more and more frustrating to use the bloody phone.
I’m stuck with an eighteen month contract and although I really like the phone lack of customisation, cut & paste, 3G support, A2DP and quite frankly an App store that has 90% Garbage…
