Touch HD and Xperia coming to Orange
Looks like Orange will be joining O2 and Vodafone in releasing the Xperia this month apparently. Tracy and Matt are reporting images of the Touch HD on the Orange website under the coming soon section with the LG Renoir hogging the limelight. Click the break and see the pic. Also there is a little extra info about Vodafone’s upcoming line.
I saw the HTC Touch HD coming soon in the orange Business October.
Also.. it is coming to Vodafone, as the manager of Birmingham Bull Ring store wrote down for me (acting a little dumb I was…) the phones coming soon are…

The Xperia? On Orange?
A little bit confused, are you saying that the Xperia is coming to Orange?
It has not been officially announced as far as I can see, but we have received a couple of tip offs that it is coming however there could be some confusion as some online sites are selling it with an Orange contract right now, for example http://www.phoneslimited.co.uk/Sony+Ericsson/XPERIA+X1.html
Just to confirm, Orange will not be stocking the xperia X1 at all. The only way it’s available is by going through Carphone Warehouse etc
Tim, where did you get this information that Orange will never stock the x1? I really don’t want to leave orange due to their awesome 24 hour replacement phone insurance for any type of fault. I want the X1 and was waiting for it on Orange..
Like everyone else I’ve been waiting for the Xperia to come out on Orange since it was released. Called them yesterday (26th Nov 08) and was told it was listed (they’ve never told me that before) so is definitely due.
In the past I’ve been told that it was “supported” by Orange i.e. you can buy it through a third party like Carphone Warehouse as an Orange branded unit but this is the first time they’ve told me it was “listed”

I range Orange yesterday (30/11/08) asking about this and the woman on the phone said it is only available through third party such as Carphone Warehouse. Really do hope it is listed though!
i just spoke to them today 3/12/08 and the women on the orange upgrades told me the x1 is in testing as we speak and is most likely going to be lanched end of dec if it passes…she said once a fone is in testing it normally takes 3 weeks from there on…but she didnt garantee me a day so fingers and lehs crossed…..
